31 Then brethren, we are not children of the seruant, but of the freewoman.
The conclusion of the whole argument following directly from the 27. verse. If we be children of the promise, then are we children of the freewoman and not of the bondwoman, & consequently we are iustified and saued without the works of the law, by the meere grace of God causing vs by faith to rest on the promise of God, whose substance and foundation is Christ.
